July 4-6 was Nevis' annual Mango Fest, a Caribbean culinary experience that celebrates our many creative chefs and the abundant mangoes found on our fertile island. Did you know that Nevis has more than 40 varieties of mango? All of that sweetness on our little 36-square-mile paradise...
Dozens of local chefs prepared sample dishes using mangoes, and with our tickets in hand, we eagerly tried as many as we could. There was even a mango rum cocktail. Yum!
With cooking competitions, live music, drinks, and a bouncy castle, there was fun to be had for all at the Malcolm Guishard Park. I had a fabulous time connecting with friends and family who were on island for the event.
I hope to see some of you here next year.
Maybe we'll run into Soleil and Vincent, too...
