My Journey to the Page:

My story began on the beautiful Caribbean island of Nevis, where I started indulging in romance as a teenager. At twenty, I made my way to the United States, earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Education from Lesley University, MA. I spent several years sharing my love of language as a Literature and Writing instructor for middle school, high school, and college students, and loving every moment of it—but my heart always belonged to the “Happily Ever After” arena. Eventually, I stopped teaching stories and started creating them.

A true believer in the transformative power of romance, I joined Romance Writers of America in 1993. I’m proud to be a founding member of the New Hampshire RWA, a former four-term treasurer, and a co-founder of the Fall in Love With New England Conference—because lifting up fellow authors in this incredible genre is something I’ll never stop doing.

Where I’ve been and where I’m heading: 

After penning the bestselling Billionaire Brides of Granite Falls series and its spinoff, Beyond Granite Falls, these days, I’m whisking readers away to the fictional South Caribbean island of Akilina in my newest series, Billionaire Island Brides. I’m loving every sun-soaked, scandal-filled moment of it, while simultaneously trading turquoise waters for wide open skies in Pine Valley Ranch, a crossover series that brings some of those same beloved characters to the rugged mountains of Montana.

And if that weren’t enough, I’ve headed back to Granite Falls, but this time with stand-alone books featuring new captivating characters who live and love in this charming little town. I also began the Granite Falls-Next Generation series that follows the lives of the children and other relatives of the Fabulous Four couples. In other words, my fictional universe keeps expanding, and I couldn’t be more excited for you to explore every corner with me.

When I’m not dreaming up new heroes and heroines, and impossible situations to toss them into, I’m practicing yoga and meditation, walking up a mountain, along a sandy beach, or indulging in my deep love for everything Italian.
